Stool borrows the parallel action mechanism from task lighting, the dimensions from a comfortable bicycle seat and the manufacturing process from more industrial components – giving an alternative take on a traditional typology. The foot and seat-rest are always parallel, which enables the stool to pack completely flat to be stored either on or against the wall.
